Meet your Fertility Yoga Instructor!
Amanda Stevenson is a certified yoga instructor (CYT-200). She specializes in yoga for women's health including prenatal, restorative/yin and fertility. She is passionate and knowledgeable about helping women understand their bodies and how stress can affect fertility, weight gain and blood sugar levels. With a holistic approach, she will empower you to nourish and heal your mind and body. She enjoys being a mom and caring for her family. She spends every summer traveling around Nicaragua. She also enjoys gardening and cooking. She is an avid reader of health and nutrition books. She currently teaches in-person Fertility and Prenatal yoga.  She is the instructor for the Fab Fertile Online Fertility Yoga Series

Is this practice suitable for beginners?

Yes! These poses are designed to give you a taste of fertility yoga and they are for the beginner.

I've practiced yoga for years, will I learn anything new?

Yes! Fertility Yoga is based on restorative, yin and Hatha yoga. The poses are very slow and gentle. Many of us who practice yoga may practice more vigorous types of yoga such as ashtanga, and/or bikram (hot yoga) which is not recommended for fertility. These types of yoga flow quickly and leave little time for rest.

What is Fertility Yoga?

Fertility Yoga offers specific poses to gently open the hips, release tension in the pelvis, nourish and repair the reproductive organs, increase breath awareness, calm the mind and nervous system.

How does Fertility Yoga help with my fertility?

Numerous studies show that reducing stress levels can help improve the chances of conception.  These simple yoga poses can help quiet negative thoughts and make you feel more in control.  Plus this has an added benefit of lowering cortisol (stress hormone) levels, which directly impact your sex hormones.  High levels or cortisol may interfere with reproductive hormones.
